Shearing Shed Hand in CANNON CREEK, Queensland
A fit and active person is required for approximately 2 months work in a shearing shed starting at the end of July in the Stanthorpe area. The suitable applicant will have a very good eye for detail as the position will involve processing and grading fleeces from sheep (wool) to a high standard. The job is physically demanding and involves long days, lots of bending and lifting. You need to be reasonably tall due to the height of the wool table and 'throwing' fleeces. You will also need very good English language and comprehension skills.
Accommodation is provided on the farm and meals are provided while you are working ie lunch, morning and afternoon tea. Your own car would be preferable as the property is about 35km from town - however if you are happy to be restricted in your movements you can be without a car.
